We are visiting Walter White today, at least that’s the plan.
Random picture of the truck cockpit.
This trip has been a wonderful adventure, but I’m really tired.
Today will be quite a haul, let’s see how we manage.
My next post should be from somewhere in Texas.
We only had one day to spend in the great City of New Orleans, so we had some beignets, walked around The French Quarter, and took a walking tour of Lafayette Cemetery 1.
Tonight is dinner at Lüke’s.
Here, look at some pictures.
Yesterday (Tuesday, May, 6) was our first hard driving day. It took us through five states.
We’ll spend Wednesday here in New Orleans and get back on the road Thursday for more hard driving.
We’ll spend most of Thursday and part of Friday going across Texas. It’s strange to cross so many states in one day and need almost two to get through Texas.
Steven, we will see each other another time, my friend.
We’re done for the day. Packed up Ms. Haileigh, which took longer than planned, then hit the open road. The countryside out here is absolutely beautiful. It’s green with great, tall, trees everywhere.
We found a Red Roof Inn for the night. It’s nothing fancy but it will do. I’m beat.
